今天是太陽花學運周年，台灣這一年來發生了不少事情，這場學運也被視為是國民黨九合一挫敗關鍵之一，國民黨籍立委許淑華認為太陽花學運，不得不讓國民黨看到年輕人的強烈訴求。
許淑華今(18)天接受本報訪問時說，年輕人渴望的聲音跟訴求被聽見，也透過太陽花，不得不讓國民黨看到年輕人的強烈訴求，關注公共議題，包括兩岸條例等；她說，就國民黨立場，希望年輕人的聲音能透過正常平台跟管道，來做一個磨合，讓青年聲音被接受，也能讓國民黨在青年政策上，形成參與公共議題非常重要的一力量。
許淑華也坦言，從國民黨九合一敗選結果來看，也不能全歸咎於太陽花，國民黨在重要議題、政策上，確實诶有辦法讓民眾感受到關懷，這是國民黨自己在未來選戰、執政上要努力的。
